Ontario's mental health funding has been cut by $330 million by the Ford government. What has happened to the $2.1 billion in additional mental health funding over the next four years that was promised to Canadians? Why are they taking away funding from an issue rising at an alarming rate in Ontario? Why has Doug Ford elected to reduce funding to $1.9 billion for the next 10 years and what is that money now being used for?

These are the questions Canadian citizens want to be answered. Taking away from mental health funding does not help the health care system and creates many more problems than before. How can we resolve the lack of coverage for mental health problems by public health care and/or the Ontario Health Insurance Plan?
